Journeyfolio (“the app”) is developed by Bartlett Butter. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short answer: we don’t collect any.

What Data We Collect
None. Journeyfolio does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. There are no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind.
Your Trip Data
All information you create — destinations, dates, activities, flight numbers, hotel details, attached documents, and notes — is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device except when the app communicates with third-party services (described below) to fetch content you’ve explicitly requested.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Journeyfolio offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions processed entirely through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or have access to your payment information. All billing and subscription management is handled by Apple under their Privacy Policy.
Location Data
Journeyfolio does not access your device’s GPS or track your physical location.
When you add a destination or search for places, your search queries are sent to Apple’s servers to return results. City names are sent to Apple for geocoding and weather data. Country codes are sent to Nager.Date for public holiday information. No other location data is collected or transmitted.

Both permissions are optional. The app functions fully without them. No images are ever uploaded to external servers.
Third-Party Services
The app connects to the following services solely to display content you’ve requested. No personal data or device identifiers are sent — only the minimum information needed to fulfill each request.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, license, or share your data with any third parties. The only network communication the app makes is the service requests listed above.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your trip data persists on your device until you choose to delete it — either within the app or by uninstalling. Uninstalling permanently removes all stored data. There is no cloud backup or sync.
You are always in control. Delete any trip or activity at any time by swiping left within the app.
Your Rights
Because Journeyfolio stores all data locally and collects nothing on our end, you already have complete control over your information. You can view, edit, or delete your data at any time directly within the app — no request to us required.
Children’s Privacy
Journeyfolio does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because the app collects no personal data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages.
International Users
No cross-border transfer of personal information occurs because no personal information is collected. Network requests to third-party services contain only destination-related queries (city names, flight numbers, country codes) and no personal data or device identifiers, regardless of your location.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
